We handle it. Installs, repairs, tankless upgrades, all of it. If your hot water’s been spotty or your unit’s getting up there in years, we can help you figure out whether to repair it or replace it. You don’t need to call somebody else.
What brands can you work on? Do I need a specialist for my system?
We work on all the major ones — Trane, Lennox, Carrier, Rheem, Goodman, American Standard, York. For plumbing fixtures and water heaters: Navien, Rinnai, Bradford White, AO Smith, Moen, Delta, Kohler, and others. If you’ve got something older or less common, odds are we’ve worked on it. What’s actually included in an HVAC maintenance visit?
We go through the whole system. Coils, refrigerant, electrical connections, thermostat, condensate drain, airflow. In Miami specifically, we also check for salt corrosion and mold growth — two things that hit systems here way faster than they do anywhere else in the country. If we find something that needs attention, we’ll tell you what it is and what it costs before doing anything about it.
What does the process look like for installing a new AC system?
We send a comfort advisor to your home, no charge. They look at your space and put together options based on what you actually need — not just what’s easiest for us to install. Once you pick a direction, we get your sign-off, take the measurements, order the equipment, and schedule the install. We pull the permits and handle the inspections. By the time we’re done, you’ll know exactly what was installed and why.
I’m getting cheaper AC installation quotes elsewhere. If the equipment brand is the same, does the installer really matter?
Short answer: yes, and more than most people realize. The cheapest installer almost always ends up being the most expensive one over the lifespan of the system.
The equipment is only part of what you’re paying for. A top-tier AC system installed badly will underperform, run inefficiently, and break down sooner than a mid-range unit installed correctly. We see it all the time — someone bought a great system from a cheap installer and two years later they’re calling us because it never worked right from day one.
A proper install means the system is sized right for your specific home. Not just square footage — layout, ceiling height, window exposure, insulation. In Miami, you also have to factor in humidity loads that most of the country doesn’t deal with at this level. An oversized unit short-cycles. It cools the air fast but shuts off before it pulls the moisture out, leaving you with a house that hits the right temperature but still feels sticky. An undersized unit just runs nonstop and never gets there.
Beyond sizing, the refrigerant line connections, ductwork sealing, electrical work, condensate drainage — all of it affects how the system runs from day one and how long it lasts. A leak in the lines, a bad duct seal, or a drain that wasn’t pitched right will cause problems you might not notice immediately, but you’ll feel them in your power bill and eventually in a repair call.
The manufacturer’s warranty also depends on proper installation. If something fails and the paperwork shows it wasn’t installed to spec, the warranty may not cover the repair — even though the equipment itself is technically still under warranty.
When you’re comparing quotes, ask each company how they size the system, whether they pull permits, and walk you through their install process. The answers tell you a lot. The cheapest quote usually means shortcuts somewhere, and in Miami’s climate those shortcuts catch up fast.
